p. O.In Galway since Sunday and today Tuesday was the first time being asked for covid pass. I was delighted we were asked. It is reassuring to know the restaurant is doing there best to keep you safe.. Nice restaurant clean and huge selection of food on offer . Definitely recommend 👌
A. A.Stopped by for lunch with my family. They have plenty of food options, even for gluten free and vegan. From small sandwiches to turkey and ham, it’s a great place if you’re not looking for something fancy or hipster in the area. I’m only giving four stars because during my visit I noticed that the place was a bit dirty, possibly given to high traffic of customers.
A. K.Always have lovely food and staff, very glad they require vax pass as I can eat safely without worrying about adults without vaccines that don't want to take responsibility for themselves and protect others, very glad that at least the restaurant is protecting there patrons! 5 stars!
M. T.I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating. Their traditional Irish breakfast is 10 euro and it is DELICIOUS, especially the pudding. The breakfast comes with coffee or tea and either brown or wheat bread.
I. W.It can be hit or miss... It seems at peak times the food and service is great but outside of those times it's not so great. We waited over 5 minutes while there was no customers at the counter meanwhile 4 staff members were behind the counter, one who was on the phone talking about the weather!! Tables were dirty. The sausages were dry and the curry sauce was lumpy. Given the state of the place downstairs it was no suprise to find the toilets were filthy and smelly.

I. S.Upstairs, where the actual restaurant is located, the atmosphere and design were very cozy and beautiful, relaxing. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The toilets were spacious, clean and I was pleased to see that there weren't paper towels available to dry your hands, but an environmentally friendly cotton towel dispenser.

M.I absolutely adore the food in this place. It is near to all the action in Eyre Square and there are multiple bus stops dotted nearby going to most places in the county. There are lots of seats and the fact that the toilets were at the top made no difference to my visit to here. The portions are nice and generous and high quality.

J. K.Recently visited this restaurant and what an exceptional place to eat. The service was excellent and a credit to the staff working there. They were very polite and kind. I attended on a busy night and the staff were very good at there job. The food was delicious and I would recommend people to try it. I will be eating here again because they have a wide range of food that cater for everyone. This restaurant deserves 5 stars.
D. O.Not a bad restaurant but not the best I've experienced in Ireland as well. Food is average. Set menu but drinks could not be swopped (or paid in) for other types. We were a big group but others in our group got their good already while our order was not even taken yet.

F.we went to this restaurant as part of a hen package we booked, we all had a set menu with about a good selection of food on it, we arrived and they brought us to a private area where we could have food and drinks and games without being to noisy for other diners, the staff were lovely and very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the food was really nice and tasty and the portions were really good. i would highly recommend this place to anyone eating out. downstairs is a coffee shop and up stairs is a restaurant.
A. H.Just came for a quick coffee. A little disappointed when instead of a coffee machine operated by a barista, it was an automatic machine that you press one button. It didn't quite taste like coffee and it was priced as a barista coffee.
Food looks good and staff are friendly. I may come back and get a tea instead

A. C.We went to the first floor seating area and received waitress service, which was prompt and efficient. The manager came and apologised for the delay in serving our order as he said he felt our Lasagna was over cooked and he wants it done again. Good conscenious service.

F. M.I have visited the GBC on many occasions both for breakfast and evening meal. The place is always top class. Hygiene in the premises could not be better. Waitress are kind courteous and caring (especially Breege) the food is always top class. I will be back
E. G.Not too busy despite location. We easily fiund a seat. I had fish chowder wich was amazingly yummy and my kids had standard food they are asking for always and everywhere, i.e. chips and chicken nuggets. And they wera happy too. Btw nuggets are real chicken fillet pieces. Prices comprehensive.
M. C.If you just want some no-frills basic food downstair then its the place to go. Got the regular irish breakfast that was one egg, two bacon, two pudding, two sausages, two toasts and a coffee for like 8 or 9 euro.

A goodly amount of food at a reasonable price. It is served cafeteria style where they load up a plate and give you a tray.
