I went to Gemelle's last weekend with a group of 4 girls for a mini hen. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make my friends night special and memorable. I really can't thank them enough. Dervla was an absolutely phenomenal host and we couldn't be happier with our choice to go there. Thanks to all the staff for a great night. I hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful mussels so fresh and huge portion for 10 euro . My husband had the burger which he said was huge and delicious. Lovely friendly staff and quick and attentive service.

Cozy place. In the center and bar area. Fast service and friendly staff. Homemade and freshly made food. I recommend you to ask about the dishes of the day. Covid-19 measurements: it may seem small but there is good separation between tables. They clean the tables well between customers. Besides, they have a disinfectant dispenser at the entrance (with pedal) and a person controlling that customers disinfect their hands before entering. Definitely highly recommended.

Exceptional service, superbly helpful staff and good drinks (strawberry daikiri, whiskey sour and dark beer). We had a cheese platter as well. Incredible ambiance inside together with the exceptional service by staff made it a memorable and special experience. Highly recommended!!

The food at Gemelle’s was fantastic! I loved all the dishes my friends and I had ordered from the tapas to the entrees. I would recommend the fish and chips and anything with seafood. I also loved the decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant!

Came in on a packed New Year's night and was invited to wait at the bar where the very friendly bartender made small talk and welcomed us. After about 10 minutes, we were seated and ordered. The waitress was incredibly kind and made sure to check up on us frequently. The food at Gemelle was the best food I ate during my stay 2 week stay in Ireland hands down. I left immensley satisfied with all aspects of the restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for great food and staff.

Stopped at Gemelle's for lunch while in Galway. If you are in the Eyre Square area, I highly recommend stopping at this warm cozy restaurant to experience some of the best Ireland has to offer. The soup, stew, and brown bread topped the list for most memorable meals during our trip. Service was wonderful too. You can thank me later.

The Oysters were delicious and the restaurant was really really beautiful. However the service was very serious and the waitress was talking very fast to my dad who is not very fluent in English. In addition, they were pretty slow serving the beers and the wine. _________________________________ I went a second time this week and the attention was better than perfect. Had a very nice breakfast with my two small boys. Staff were excellent. Very helpful door was opened going in as I had a buggy. The food was good i had the eggs Benedict and son number one had the pancakes. Eggs were perfect. Hollandaise was a little thine. But it was freshly prepared. So no real complaint. Sons pancakes were quite nice. I had to eat half that portion as we don't do half's. Over all I was quite happy. Coffee was good. Again staff were excellent and very accommodating. I will be back.

I got the beef stew and it literally made me cry it was so delicious. I have never had such a strong emotional reaction to food in my whole life. And not only was it the most delicious thing I have ever tasted, it was fairly priced at around 10 Euro and very filling. Service was very friendly as well!

The food was lovely however I did find that when the main waitress/ owner I assume - spoke she only did so to my partner. It was very disrespectful and felt sexist. Funny enough it was me who was paying this night so all her effort at a big tip from the man were diminished. I felt disrespected but out of my own respect I did leave a small tip. we had dinner there twice in a group of 6 people. Very very recommendable. All the dishes were perfect, very tasty and the place is very cosy. We tried a couple of different startes, mains and desserts and all of them were very very savoury and yummy. Staff both evenings very friendly and welcoming with a good sense of humour.

Visited this place every night for the two nights we were in Galway. Fabulous food, lovely staff and excellent customer service. Would highly recommend the steak on a stone, roast chicken, goats cheese parcel and the pinot noir. No better way to enjoy Galway in the evening while watching all the people on quay street at the same time. Fabulous.

Really great food here. Stopped in to have cod and chips. Ended up have the Panko prawn starter and some cocktails. A steak passed ús and it looked and smelt unreal. The food here is unreal. The cocktails are great as well. The staff we're very friends. Really good experience.

Had a great meal and some delicious espresso martinis for dessert. Cute romantic atomosphere and close to alot of great bars. Thank you to the lovely waitress (fellow Belfast lady) who took the time to write my boyfriend and I a list of things to do and see on our little trip to galway! Exceptional meat, like the starters and the wine selection, welcoming and well-disposed staff ... But .... They have no idea what an espresso is ... And unfortunately not even what a cheesecake is (the one in the photos it should be a chocolate cheesecake) .... I had a good time, but I was disappointed with the dessert (a 7 € cheesecake must be a cheesecake at least ...) (Original) Direi molto bene in generale...la location era fantastica dava l'impressione di essere a casa dalla nonna d'inverno. Dunque molto familiare ed accogliente. Il cibo?
