Can't beat it. Quick service. Quick as in I had my food 2 minutes after I ordered it. Food was hot and delicious. Very reasonably priced and staff were more than nice.

Great quality/price ratio, for 13€ you get huge portion of two fishes and chips. Food was delicious, worth a visit.

There’s nothing like a simple menu with incredible taste. Best fish and chips you’ll ever have.

We jumped in here on our first night in Galway, we were starving after a few pints and the fish and chips was excellent. We were fighting over the onion rings they were that nice!

Been at McDonagh's during the holidays twice and it completely worth it. Great food, nice staff and cosy atmosphere.

Very crispy and fresh fried cod with chips. The service was quick, but they messed up the order. The fish soup had chunky bites of salmon, cod and other fish.

Loved the rustic feel to this place. Fast service. Good prices. Fresh fish and chips. Can’t get any better than that.

Amazing fish and chips and for a great price. Too bad they ran out of oysters. Downside is they charge for tartar sauce otherwise would be 5stars.

Too many places buy in prebattered & frozen fish. Not McDonald's real freshly made fish & chips. Highly recommended not difficult to see why this chipper is a Galway institution.
