R. C.Fantastic food, staff and decor. Staff went out of their way to get us drinks and seat us in their outdoor area when we arrived early. Put on the heater so we were nice and warm. Hands down THE best chicken burger I have ever had!! Guinness is lovely also. Perfect spot.

U. C.Disappointed. The food here is very good which is why I am here most weekends. I've previously given 5 stars but they keep changing the menu. Mostly removing vegitarian options which is very disappointing so unfortunately will not be coming here again.

A. A.What an adorable place. Very specious, yet lovely and stylish decorations with a personal touch. Also the grocery store really is a feel good place.
Brunch menu is not too small, not too big and all the dishes I had were class. Loved the Turkish eggs. And the pizzas looked yummy too. Only small minus: To my taste the portions could be a little bit bigger, considering the slightly elevated prices. Other than that, you won't be disappointed.

D. A.It's Dublin prices outside Dublin, however there is value to match what you're paying. Great iced coffees and even better food. I got the fry with scrambled eggs and they were the best eggs I'd ever had. The rest was obviously fantastic as well!

The Pigeon House were a pleasure to work with . We had 90 guests, all of them raved about the food . Many commented on the high standard of the food and service . The venue was a beautiful intimate setting . We are delighted that we choose to celebrate our special day in the Pigeon House and would definitely recommended it to others .

M. H.Nice venue and good staff but the menu is only a small step up from Eddie Rockets but with less choice. And with the reduced choice some items were also unavailable. Warm food on cold plates or in cardboard boxes. Cocktails not served in cocktail glasses. A dinner restaurant needs to have desserts and 3 choices of ice cream is no choice at all. It autumn now and the evenings are cold so the heating needs to be on.

There for brunch today for Mothers' Day. Really busy, but the staff don't miss a beat. Good selection, their rotisserie chicken is really popular and the burger is excellent. That onion relish is delicious!

A. F.I’ve been here so many times for brunch, lunch and dinner and I love this restaurant .
Last night myself and my family had dinner, the food was delicious, I had the nicest steak I’ve ever had, served with creamy mash and green veg it was absolutely mouth watering. The lemon tart for dessert was amazing. I was literally in a food coma, I couldn’t stop eating the kids food either which was so tasty. They got burgers and pizzas. The meat in the burgers was such good quality and so nice, considering the kids meals are so cheap.
I will definitely be coming back and I’ll look forward it.
B. M. N.Very nice eateries. Whilst the menu is limited everything we ate or saw delivered to fellow diners was very good. I had a pizza which was excellent, the chicken lover parfait was perfect but for an artisanal bakery on the premises the bread was a bit of a let down.
I'd go back which is always the best yardstick.

I did not base my rating on opening hours.
We drove to the restaurant based on google opening hours. They were simply not updated. We were told by the host we could order take away and eat in the car. How thoughtful, sensitive and kind is that in your opinion?
You are right about 1 star rating. Based on previous experience it wouldn’t be fair. I’ll change it now.
S. S.Very expensive for what is served. Presentation of food not very appealing. Serving staff and venue very pleasant. How many olives can fit on one pizza? A bit offputting for my friends who shared one. Had read rave reviews of food. What we were served did not live up to the reviews. Maybe an off day between Christmas and New Year
A. M.This may be my favourite coffee house, EVER. The Coffee is roasted on the premises, and is so good we bought a bag nearly every time we visited. The Staff are absolutely lovely and the bakery is crazy good. We ate in the restaurant upstairs for breakfast a few times also, and the food and service were also incredible. It's pricey - but you get what you pay for without doubt. Highly recommended.

T. M.We recently celebrated our son's wedding ceremony and party here with about 50 guests.
About a month beforehand we attended a menu tasting meal which, on its own was very memorable for the choices of starters, mains, dessert and wines. The final choices were for sharing starters of beetroot, goats cheese and pear, smoked salmon and a very tasty pate served with sourdough bread. We opted for a choice of two mains, stone bass fish course and a chicken sous vide meat dish.The chicken was superb and displaced an excellent beef dish for our meat choice. Dessert was an Eton mess with an added praline crunch. We had a wonderful evening, enjoyed a lovely meal and met with Kim, Zoe and John and their team who were to look after us on the big day.
The venue was set up to provide a formal ceremony area, complete with aisle which worked very well. Upon arrival, we had a drinks reception and all the staff for the entire evening were very attentive, thoughtful and efficient. Our guests were made welcome to the venue and the ceremony got under way. The meal and the service were excellent, and I have no reservations about highly commending and recommending the The Pigeon House Cafe as an intimate, well run venue offering first class food and wine for any private functions.
J. F. H.Location and place very nice. Food not wonderful and don't ask for extra garlic mayo or harissa both come in a little, small dipping cup (size of McDonald's ketchup) and are 2.00 euro each. Rotisserie chicken was dry. Check your bill.. service charge is added. 6 of us and I left an extra tip. Service was good and the waitresses very nice. Third and last time this summer.

c. p.Amazing food and service. This place is great for families and is very accessible both for buggies and wheelchairs.
Just below the pigeonhouse, you will also find a great grocery shop with plenty of selection and the firehouse bakery which offers a super selection of baked goods! Bakeries are a bit of an attraction in itself in ireland, so well worth visiting before or after pigeonhouse.
J. B.Katherine, the woman working the till when we stopped in was fantastic. The food was excellent, the market attached offered all kinds of fresh food and Katherine's bubbly personality was incredible. You must have breakfast/lunch here if you're in the area
M. N.Brought my friend here on Tuesday. Both had a lovely brunch. Fab food and great service. Staff here are very welcoming and friendly. Afterwards we browsed through the ajoining veg and healthy food section where the assistant Adam was very helpful and friendly. We followed this by popping into the bakery where we purchased some more. We came away with Fab home baked breads and our goodies from the veggie shop. Overall a lovely experience. Would highly recommend it. We will certainly be back for more. 👍 Well done everyone at The Pigeon House. Loved this place. ❤️

P. O.Waitress service excellent with lovely friendly staff. Have eaten here before with mixed results and would like to frequent more often as the setting and decor etc are lovely but the menu lets the place down. Too limited on mains to attract back locals on a regular basis and no specials which is essential to keep a local clientele interested. Also some very questionable combinations. My beautifully cooked piece of cod, which was the only main course to attract me on the menu, was served with beetroot 2 ways neither of which belonged on a plate with the delicate cod. One, a whole sweet overpowering beet which I offered to my husband who had chosen the duck, again the only main he was interested in, but even he could not stomach it even with the stronger flavoured duck. Chatting to friends after in the pub everyone had had similar experiences and reluctantly were not inclined to return.
A. L.The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive and nice, but it is very over priced I had the special which was halibut with beetroot it came and was just that. Nothing else for €28. No sides nothing. I wasn't full after a three course meal and I don't large appetite.

The carpark can fill up fast as there is a great little shop downstairs along with a café.
J. D.This is a regular stop for me. They have the best coffee in Wicklow and I come down with my famiily regularly for dinner.
The creativity and ability to combine flavors in their dishes is what makes this place stand out for me. DIshes such as tempura battered prawns with pickled cucumbers and apples, grilled chicken with a mint yogurt on fresh cabbage and peanuts, the best damn hamburger in Ireland. The menu is always changing and as a regular I never get bored - even if I order the same damn thing over and over again.
Part of the appeal for me is also the staff, they are top shelf, warm and contribute to the inclusive atmosphere.
Except for that guy John...
Yea ok - even John is amazing and he didn't let the Ireland Manager of The Year award for 2019 go to his head.
This place is great but stay away - it is already hard enough for me to get my favorite seat for the crowds.
T. L.Generally enjoyable, but not outstanding. The food was quite oily and in my opinion, there were not enough healthy options available - most are high carb foods with little vegetables. Wouldn't come again to the café, although would visit the special foods shop downstairs.

R. M.Thursday evening is a great night at the Pigeon House. Go see John and he'll look after you. Incredible pizza oven imported from Napoli with brilliant results. Rotisserie chicken is great. Make sure you get the stuffing on the side. Pork skewer starter is great too, as is the Malbec.

E. M.No doubt, excellent restaurant! You should try Hummus Egg or Duck & Waffle (as seen in pictures).
They have a nice bar and cocktails to try. I have gone with Bellini with my breakfast. There is also a parking space. Suitable for singles, couples, big groups or families.
Sundays could be a bit noisy.
