9 of us went for dinner. It was great we had so much fun. The silent movie had us in stitches. The service was great lovely friendly staff. Food was delicious everyone had clean plates. Great value for money. Definitely give it a go. We'll be back. We were in there on Sunday with the kids and wer told it would be a half hour wait for menu change? What is going on in the kitchen? Floor staff were lovely as always. But a change of menu should be exactly that a quick change of menu and continue with food. The kitchen must be unorganized as I've never heard the likes. I've worked as a waitress in lots of places and never have I heard of a wait over menu changes. We chose not to wait. But at least the girls warned us about the wait so we had a choice. Still worth a visit just don't arrive at menu change 😀

Oh my god it's such a quaint place. The old black and white silent movie playing we had a great laugh. The food absolutely fabulous. I had brie bone bon to start so full of flavour and presentation was first class. I had steak sandwich beautifully cooked I wasnt able to finish it. Highly recommend this place staff are friendly thanks to samantha and the lovely girls. We will be back very good value also

Sunday lunch for 7, in a converted cinema. fabulous food. generous portions and great value, the staff are lovely. but the very best was watching 'The Kid' the Charlie Chaplin movie on the big screen.. the kids loved it .. the adults too. a great idea.

We had a gorgeous meal in Flicks Restaurant last night! Beautiful food and very friendly staff. Beautiful old cinema turned into a restaurant! Black and white movies showing on big screen. We will definitely be back !

The food is absolutely amazing. Nice to have somewhere that you will never be disappointed with the food. Best roast dinners around, not just in oldcastle. Large evening menu so lots to try! Couldnt recommend this place enough. Also the staff are amazing and so friendly. Its the full package 😊
