M. B.Dinner and dessert here at this main street spot in Killarney. Never had wings like these before, very good. Staff was nice, helpful. Parking is nearby at car park. You dont have to pay after 1830. Dessert was very good, homemade ice cream and hot brownie!

Other than that, food is amazing. Really recommend the chicken wings from the starter menu as a main.

I got a table a few minutes after I entered. The waitress was friendly and had a competent dent, but didn’t recognized I want to order sth for about 5 minutes.
We got the drinks very quick. It took about 4 Minutes (3:45) and was quite normal. The food arrived about 13 Minutes later. The steak tasted really good. The side tishes were included and were delicious.
All in all a very good restaurant near the center and luckily not too crowded.

S.Macs was sophisticated, yet cosy. The food might seem slightly pricey on first glance. However, the portions were generous, and certainly the quality was sufficient to make up for it. We had a chef's menu, which we thought was very reasonably priced for a three-course meal. The chowder and lamb shank was superb.
J. F.We rand Sunday to book a table as suggested on the website, for 5pm.we got to town early, decided to go in. The waitress explained that they shouldn't have taken a booking for five because of the lunch to dinner changeover but they seated us, she apologised several times, they took our order and had no issue serving us. Food was great, very family friendly. I will always reccomend a place where the staff make a point of speaking to my daughter as it makes the occasion special for her. Great value for money

We were talking about how nice it was and looked them up online to realize they technically closed 30 minutes before we got there. Wow! Thank you for feeding us! C. B.We ate at Macs on Easter Monday, it was very busy, we were seated quite quickly. Our order was taken promptly,then the problems started. Firstly, the wrong meals came out, when the correct order arrived only two of the three meals arrived, there was a wait of fifteen minutes before the third meal arrived. Food was good, we were looking forward to desert, but after another twenty minute wait it was obvious that no one was going to serve us so we paid and left. They appeared to be very interested in getting punters in but once you were in you were pretty much ignored.

That said, I love good seafood chowder and have tried it in several places on my 5 weeks in Ireland. This Seafood Chowder was creamy, delicately seasoned, with fresh veggies and a generous serving of seafood. Service was great and price was reasonable for this dish. Don't miss it!

Excellent family restaurant which we always call to when in Killarney. Good food, good value and there's a blonde lady working there with years who's hilarious and a brilliant waitress who's amazing with the kids. Is also popular for dates judging by the number of couples there.

Tolles Lokal, klasse Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung.
Mac's bietet regelmäßig verschiedene dreigänge Menü-Sets an; man kann zwischen 5 Vorspeisen, 5 Hauptgänge und 3 Desserts wählen.
Ich empfehle diese nur dann zu bestellen, wenn man sich auch wirklich sicher ist, diese zu schaffen. Ich habe es nicht geschafft, die drei Gänge zu essen, dabei esse ich in der Regel viel.
Ich hatte den Wild Atlantic Way Seafood Chowder, das Slow braised Shank of Lamb und den Homemade Zesty Lemon & Ginger Nut Cheesecake.
Die Lammkeule war von der Menge ok, während das selbstgemachte Kartoffelpüree viel zu viel war genau wie der Käsekuchen der von einer Kugel Eis begleitet wurde; in beiden Fällen hätte die Hälfte völlig gereicht. Aber bei der Lammkeule darf ruhig etwas mehr Soße dazu, die war einfach zu lecker um darin zu sparen.
Zum Glück kann man bei Mac's den Rest mitnehmen.
