Food was decent but staff could’ve been a bit more accommodating and friendly. We were missing a few sets of silverware at the table and when we asked for them, the waiter had a look on his face like I asked him to do backflips across the bar to go get them, put me off asking for anything else incase I got drop kicked out the pub. Stout was great.

Super nice people, great beer garden and food. We stayed one night but we would've stayed more if our schedule allowed. They also helped with forwarding our bag lost by Aer Lingus to our next stop. Can't say enough positive about these guys.

We spontaneously decided to stop at Kenmare for a stay during our trip of Ring of Kerry.@ Donnabhain looks very Irish and old school, the food is very reasonable priced, delicious, and filling. We ordered the beef stew with Guinness and roasted beef, and a flight for some local beer. The atmosphere is also good, and the bean right on top of the bar is very interesting

If I was a local I would be eating here 2-3 times a week for sure! Great food! If you go hungry here it is your fault! During our 10day trip to Ireland this is one of the best places we ate at during our whole trip.

This is a family friendly and relaxed atmosphere pub. My husband had the lamb stew and I had the pan fried cod. Both were delicious. The accompanying veg were a tad over cooked. For dessert we shared the Irish cream brulee and it was nice. Traditional Irish folk music (not live) was being played which we enjoyed. The wait staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely evening out. We would come here again.

Nice spot but advertising themselves as a ‘gastro pub’ rings a bit hollow given quality of food, I had ribs which were fine but chips had been cooked in oil overdue a change. My girlfriend had salmon which was a bit grey and overdone. I’m sure fine as a pub only!

You won't go hungry here! There's a section called Irish meals (or something like that) which features bacon and cabbage, Irish stew, salmon, etc. and you receive a big plate, big on food and big on taste at a reasonable price. Is family friendly and have a kids menu. The service is very attentive and friendly too. Will be going back.
