Walked by and so glad I stopped in. Google said it was closed but it wasn’t. The inside is very charming and the food is delicious. Had the chowder which was full of seafood and a lobster salad with big chunks of incredibly fresh lobster. Reasonably priced for the meal and drinks. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

Lovely staff, great service and good food at a reasonable price.
Chowder was absolutely fantastic with the delicious homemade bread. Super fresh fish.

I could not recommend this restaurant more. From the moment we booked until we left the building the staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly. The menu had plenty of options and the food was delicious. The portions were more than generous and the cost was very reasonable in comparison to similar establishments.

What a nice surprise !!! A small place in a hidden road but once inside a friendly welcome and warm environment. The menu is simple but can satisfy all tastes. We were four and we enjoyed: oysters, wild prawns, lobster and monk fish. All of them excellent. A good Italian wine completed the setting. The price has been very fair. Excellent!

We've been travelling around Ireland for the past two weeks and tonight we had the best meal/dining experience of our holiday. We arrived at High Tide for our 6pm reservation. We were greated by Natalie, who doubled as the hostess and server. She was absolutely lovely and contributed significantly to our fabulous experience. The restaurant is warm, quaint and eclectic. We shared the starter mussels and each had the Thai curry shrimp/prons. All of it was fantastic. We had a nice meal at Fishy Fishy last night, but this experience far exceeded that one. If you come to Kinsale, this is a must do. Thank you Natalie for an exceptional service experience and to High Tide for a highlight meal of our trip.

The mussels were tender, fresh and divine. Lobster delicious. The chicken pate was wonderful. Really loved the home made bread with butter. I generally order gluten free but this bread did not bother me at all. Fantastic experience. I would go back and order the same thing.

The food was amazing, probably a top 3 meal ever! The bread served upon arrival was ridiculously delicious so we had extra and could of had no more actually I would have been happy to just eat the bread! Wait staff were very good and the vibe of the place was relaxed and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Went for lunch yesterday with the family, small and cozy atmosphere, host is friendly and welcoming. Food is average, ordered some calamari, mussels and chowder. Wanted to try the oysters although it’s not on the menu, we asked but they don’t have them that day. I was surprised they ran out of chicken wings and the chicken wrap at middle of lunchtime, the whole experience was ok
