S.This restaurant is a little gem both for food and atmosphere first of we we're running late so we had to push our Reservation forward by 1 hour and thay we're very accommodating when we sat down the Waitress brought us lovely bread and crisps. Thay have a lovely wine selection and the food was fantastic the service was second to none and we felt very welcome not rushed at all

The sauces were perfect, distinct and light enough to let the ingredients shine through beautifully. Service was attentive enough to be nice. Room is gorgeous with a volume level that is buzzy without being too loud. I will definitely be back anytime I am in Limerick.
S. V.By far the number one restaurant here in Limerick, delicious food, fantastic wine and out of this world deserts. The atmosphere here is low key, magical and relaxing. I've been here a few times, and absolutely adored it.

m.I am from the US and found most of the food in Limerick and the surrounding area to be bland and unpalatable. The French Table was a welcome change from the typical Irish food and plates were flavorful with good presentation. Don’t miss out on dessert!
B. Q.Just a great restaurant for a special occasion! Had Snails, Venison and some Glace Caramel for dessert! Service is outstanding too with a fantastic wine selection!
C. O.Most of the food was nice, but not mind blowing. The service was ok, the waitress seemed like she really didn't want to be there. It was very quiet when we went in but they seated everyone in the same corner which was annoying.
The steak was incredible and the deserts are just Beautiful. The early bird menu doesn't include coffee with your desert! Specify tap water if you don't want any hidden charges

Staff were extremely polite and friendly.
The desert tray was also a really good feature.
They also had a great selection of wine.
Lastly, their escargots were some of the best my dad has ever had!

The noise level is enormous, the restaurant has no music since you really wouldnt be able ro follow a conversation. Maybe because its popular, due to its beautiful food. The menu include the classic french dishes such as snails, duck and more, but portions are small. Enabling you to eat more courses. A vegitarian option is on the menu, but no vegan. There are decaff coffee options, but not soya milk.
Small details such as the restaurant name is embossed onto the chocolates, the bread is being served with homemade taytoes and great service personnel is the unique selling point.

On the down side the location has poor street lighting, and for a restaurant in its price range table cloths and hot water in the bathrooms wouldn't be too much to ask for.
I. H.Such lovely food and friendly service. We were here on a Wednesday night and it was busy but we got in without a reservation. The food was superb, especially the crepe and creme brûlée as well as my civet of rabbit and hubby's cassoulet. Gluten free and vegetarian friends were also well taken care of, and such great value for the quality of food!
F. A.French atmosphere, excellent foie gras and good wine list. Being from Toulouse in France, the cassoulet was very far from a real cassoulet, which is a shame as it was the reason why we went there.

Had a bottle of Sancerre with our meal. Price range in the upper end, however is was worth the price. We had a wonderful lunch (late Sunday afternooon)Very reasonably priced two course meal.Food was excellent and service matched the food.Would highly recommend this restaurant in a quiet scenic location on the Quay by the river Shannon

A. O.I started working in kitchens as a little boy. I have never reviewed a restaurant this is my first. I was told french table is the best in limerick so I went to put the claim to the test. First dish spatzel and mushrooms absolutely cooked perfect from texture to taste. Second course fish I thought to myself this is were I prove the claim to be false. 3 different fish in a hot broth very few chefs can cook all three fish perfectly place them in a hot dish and serve it to you still cooked perfectly. This chef did it which was surprising to me especially when I asked how many were in the kitchen. I will come back to Ireland for holiday next year and I will be sure to come to limerick just because of this chefs food. Best food in limerick from pollboy to mallow and kilkee to thurles
