Would recommend for the coffee and desserts. Beef burger was OK. Kids goujons were OK. Chips are chunky and good but were a little cold coming out - we should have asked for new ones but the waitresses weren't available. Baileys cheesecake and mocha were both fab. Chocolate cake also got massive thumbs up.

Beautiful café with gorgeous decor. Plenty of choice on the breakfast menu, nice to see that they use quality local products like Collerans butchers. Friendly staff and good service

Lovely cafe, all to often people whinge, without considering the currant difficulties food outlets have to endure to stay open, I really enjoyed my breakfast in root's, great products, and pleasant service, unlike some cafes with cheap products, very happy to find roots Cafe loughrea, a simple thing but even the tomato was nicely grilled, and the sourdough brown was lovely, Keep up the good work guys, it's lovely and for those who whinge about a wait etc, maybe McDonald's is more suitable.

Just too disorganised yet. I have been twice now . Slow service you will get your food but the coffee might come 15 min later. sorry but not for vegetarians unless you like eggs. that's it. Wanted the Berry bowl but not possible even though they are right beside 2 food stores. It could be great though. Time will tell. Update just had lunch with my husband and it was fabulous

Covid certs were not requested, and the cafe was pretty full. The tables and floors were not cleaned well. I probably won't go back until they begin checking certs or when covid is less of a risk.

My first time there and I must say relaxed environment had a soup and cuppacino and it was great friendly staff Michaela who served me was very friendly and helpful will go again when they start making pizza 😃🍕
