It wasn't a problem on this day but if we wanted leisurely lunch would have been disaster...
Why let people eat at booked table or tell them beforehand is will have to be a quick lunch...

F. O.Booked dinner here this afternoon. Everything was seamless. Reserved over the phone, reception was friendly. On entering the hotel Mairéad behind the desk immediately pointed me to my table and had my dinner ready for me -super efficient. Found a hair in my meal (these things happen). How it was dealt with was impressive - the girls made it through business to inform the kitchen. I was offered a replacement meal. Following my meal I was given complementary dessert and coffee- delicious crunchie cheesecake! Incidents happen but how it was handled by this hotel was thoroughly pleasant and professional. Well done Máiread and team I'm singing your praises!
S. G.Absolutely great food (try the full Irish breakfast!), and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was only €60 a night which included breakfast so it is great value. Honestly would highly recommend it if you need to spend a night in Gort!

From the fabulous food to the comfortable rooms with everything provided that you could need , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel . Our every request or requirement was catered for. The hotel is a great location for Galway city and for traveling further south , if you need to stop for an overnight stay or just for a bite to eat on your way. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to going back .

We sat in the dining area but there is also a bar for drinks as well.

The owner, John Sullivan, is a pleasure to deal with. And the location lends itself to exploring the lovely town of Gort. A bonus these days is free parking for guests and friends of the house. Do not overlook this gem!
G. H.Don't let the strange carpet and lobby-come-resturant entrance put you off. The food was delish. Best chowder I've tasted anywhere and the club sambo was serious! Nice local vibes and the army of pleasant staff were very attentive. She's a good 'un!

Seafood chowder was good, creamy and a decent portion. The pot of tea only had one teabag though, so could do better.

The rooms are clean and quiet .The staff is friendly and assistant. The food served is excellent. The prices are very reasonable. We had a good time at Sullivan's and enjoyed it. We recommend it when you’re in the neighborhood of Gort.
