Wholesome kitchen is a wonderful addition to Mullingar and is already very popular with locals. The restaurant has a modern and welcoming interior with lots of comfortable seating. The menu is diverse with lots of options to cater for all dietry needs. We had the goats cheese bruschetta to start which was cooked perfectly. For our mains we had the power bowl and the chicken burger. Both mains were as delicious as they sounded on the menu. The only food item we disliked were the potatoes that were served with the chicken burger but that could be down to our tastes. Overall I highly recommend stopping in here for lunch and we will certainly be back again soon. Would love to see them expand and open another restaurant in Tullamore.

Staff is lovely and the food it tasty. We had the chance to sit outside in a warm day and it was really nice. They have about 6 tables outside and they are protected by a fence with flowers. So even though you're close to the street you never feel that a car could hit you. The menu is very much Thai food but they have also buurgers and salads. Really nice experience overall.

As a Vegan with meat eating family this is the perfect place to go. Everything was way beyond what I've come to expect from eating out in Ireland, in terms of flavour, healthfullness, and ambiance! You don't have to make sacrifices to eat healthy, this is genuinely the best of all worlds.

Really friendly staff and great atmosphere. Stopped in on the way out to the east and enjoyed it so much we made a point to come back again today. The Thai street noodles are really tasty and filling. Also really appreciate all the safety measures the staff were taking.

This is one of my favourite places to eat and the food is not only consistently delicious and incredibly healthy, there is a huge menu to choose from which caters for so many different dietary needs. The amazing staff are so friendly and helpful and the satay sauce is to die for! ❤️

Stopped off in Mullingar on way back from Sligo. Unfortunately this place does not serve food until 12pm so only hot drinks and cakes and scones available. Very stylish, very friendly and helpful staff and great Covid-19 guidelines adhered to. Toilets very clean and available. Nice place to stop and enjoy a coffee with a friend for a catch up. Enjoy.

Without a doubt THE best food in Mullingar! This restaurant has become part of every weekend for us. Guys, absolutely love the concept of a healthy takeaway. The food is fantastic. I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times before COVID and it was exceptional, a great dining experience. I have ordered takeaway 6 or 7 times since, however, and the food consistently arrived cold. This is such a shame. I have highlighted it through the app, and again arrived last night cold. We order through Safe Serve. Maybe there is another way to ensure food is delivered hot and would love to be advised. Sorry to say, as much as we love the food, we would be slow to order again unless you can give us some assurance that we will receive a meal that is hot and ready to eat. Again, this is constructive criticism and something the owners need to be aware of. Thanks

Mala atención al público We were four people seated outside. We ordered big meals and we had to wait 60 minutes for the main dishes! After saying it twice, they finally realized and said they forgot. To our surprise, they refunded the whole order (worth €80) and apologized many times. The food was very good and the portions were big. Such a fab spot for some fast, healthy options. Saw this place advertised on my Facebook and decided to check it out. I have zero pictures of the stuff we ordered because we gobbled them all up. You'll have to trust me when I tell you that their smoothies are SO GOOD. We ordered their Pash n Shoot and Berry Go Round smoothie. And for food we ordered the Mee Goreng and Power Bowl. Uh-maze! Keen to go back to try some more of their options. And an added bonus is they're open for lunch and dinner service the whole week. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

When we have been there there was just a takeout service, me and my boyfriend went to Mullingar for a weekend out so we went around to find something to eat and i was very happy about this place because they have veggies options which is not so easy to find in general, the veggie burger was very nice and the service was quite fast my boyfriend got a sandwich too, he liked it but he confirmed that the veggie ones was more tasty... 😊 if I'll go to Mullingar again, I'll probably go there again

I visit here regularly when I am in Mullingar. We love going here as the staff are super friendly, helpful and so cheerful. The atmosphere is great always leave feeling uplifted and happy-The music is just amazing! John is a vegetarian and loves their dishes eats here daily! :) The food is incredible mouthwatering, one of my favorites is the power bowl as a main, the herbed potatoes are to die for! The smoothies and snacks are ridiculously tasty and filling. Love the staff and the whole vibe. Takeaway service is very reliable. Always looking forward to our next visit. 5/5 needs to be 11/10 :) Healthy guilt free food for sure. Thanks !!

Wholesome Kitchen is just as the name suggests. There is a lovely cosy atmosphere despite clear social distancing guidance and sanitising stations. The staff, Lauren in particular, are just amazing; friendly and efficient 👏 As for the food...I've genuinely never tasted such good, yet wholesome, healthy food anywhere else. I have a garlic allergy which causes me problems wherever I eat, but at the Wholesome Kitchen, this was not even an issue. I can have anything on the menu, made fresh, garlic-less. No problem 🙌. I have eaten a number of items from the small but still skilfully varied menu and each meal has been excellent. It has become our regular weekly food place, whether eat in or take out. I would highly recommend the Wholesome Kitchen 😍👍⭐🌟

The design looks very hipster ish, so I assume that’s the reason why the place is so overhyped among the MUllingar’s youth. The food is very average to be honest. My satay chicken skewers were just okay( the sauce was actually grand, but the chicken itself was very dry) same goes for the chicken burger. My wife’s bruschetta with goat cheese was pretty awesome, but the salad was quite random. The smoothies are actually really good, so thumbs up for the smoothies guys! And the staff is very polite and friendly. So overall it’s a fine place to go to for the ambience ( especially if you are into hipster’s vibe ) and for smoothies or coffee, but if you want to have a decent meal there are plenty of other choices around

A real gem in Mullingar. We were delighted to stumble on this fabulous spot on the Main Street. Great choices including really good vegan and vegetarian options. Service is excellent and friendly. Had a good business meeting here although I'd say it's more often used for social lunches. Place wouldn't look out of place in Dublin (meant as a compliment and indication of high standard).

Really cool vibes, unique to Mullingar! Owner is a local and you can feel the love of the town! Warm friendly staff were very accommodating. Food came out, presented magnificently with picturesque crockery and copper cutlery. The plate and food were piping hot! Tasted DELICIOUS, really recommend the coconut curry (mild but full of flavor and healthy veggies) Sweet potato wedges on the side was a winner! Washed down with those ridiculously good tasting Bounty chocolate fingers and a cappuccino which is up there with the best coffee I’ve had in a while... Not forgetting about the music, top notch! 110% will be going again.

We loved our visit to the wholesome kitchen. The food options were really healthy. The staff were all knowledgeable when it came to nutrition, sourcing of there product and even diabetes. There was no problem altering meals to accommodate plant based or diabetic recipies. Infact they were nearly excited about it. We will 100% be back. Food is absolutely delicious but I think takeaway prices should be a percentage cheaper than dine in prices. Most places charge 2 or 3 euro less for takeaway portions

We had the most delicious lunch today in Wholesome Kitchen, Mullingar. I was catching up with a friend who is a vegetarian and with 4 children under four between us our lunch options can be limited. Wholesome Kitchen was the perfect place. They have a wide range of vegetarian options, all freshly prepared and cooked. They also cater for children, offering fresh and healthy portions.... And the sugar free slushies were a big hit! The baby bowl serving was perfect, lots of lovely veg, potato and homemade soup. We treated ourselves to some of the great selection of healthy treats with a coffee afterwards.... Guilt free dining at it's best. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was busy at the time but we had loads of space to fit buggies, high chairs etc and never felt rushed, a rare treat when dining out with small children! Everyone cleared their plates. We will definitely be visiting again. It was fab!
