C. S.Sherwood Lane is an absolute delight. The food is amazing. Had lobster and chips, so tasty and with chips that were properly cooked. David and the staff are welcoming and friendly and the service is excellent. If you haven't already, give it a try.

B. M.Really beautiful food. Was a little bit worried that the restaurant quality would be lost in takeaway (the joys of Covid lockdown) but this was above and beyond anything that I would consider normal for takeaway.
Went with duck croquet, lamb tagine and seafood platter. All were spectacular. Tagine was advertised as spicy which I wouldn't class it as but lamb was succulent and a generous proportion of couscous made it a beautiful dish. 🦆 tasted beautiful with a nice crunch and there was a great selection in the seafood platter in a lovely rich buttery sauce.
All round a big Homer Simpsons 5 thumbs up...

Davids personal touch with his customers and eagerness to listen to their feedback has been a recipe for the success it is today, he really has created the perfect outdoor setting, Best of luck to you, the chef and staff.

Y. Y.Since November there has been a big improvement. Today we had a great bbq here. I had a prawn wrap and my husband a beef hot dog. They were absolutely delicious. I felt like I would eat a second one. But instead I had delicious ice cream. It was great!
I would come back again !!

N. B.Delicious, gourmet food. Casual ambiance that's perfect for a date or important occasion. Not ideal for children as there aren't many options for young children.
Access is confusing but is on the left under the arch. There is also a car park. Fresh produce aswell. Opening hours are restricted to after 3pm.
M. O. K.Sumptuous Sunday roast of beef. Perfectly cooked, with a delicious range of vegetables. Glazed carrotts, tender stem broccoli, roasted potatoes with herbs, Yorkshire pudding, a little corn on the cob and something I would never think of, but was just devine, crispy onions. All this with a beautiful wine jus. For dessert I had the Valrhona chocolate slice, which came with cream and some blueberries, raspberries and chopped pistachios. My Mum had the Swiss Meringue, which came with double cream and fresh berries. They were both delicious. I e-mailed in my order the night before and made a mistake, which caused crossed wires. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind at rectifying my mistake. I can't wait for our next meal from Sherwood Lane.
