A. L.Beautiful morning view behind the house. Host is very supportive and helpful.
It is a perfect place to spend a weekend with family or friends, you can even hire a boat and go for fishing at nearby lake.

K. S.Amazing two day stay with Bernie in this stunning setting. The house was immaculately clean and the hosts could not do enough for us. Willie organised our boat and engine and shared his invaluable fishing knowledge of the lake. We had a fantastic trip and are already planning our next one. I could not recommend this place enough!

I. J.The house is very cozy and clean. Close to the lake and in a wonderful area. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming, we felt so at home! A lot of supplies I didn't expect, which you wouldn't find in a normal hotel. We had a very lovely stay and it was sad for us to go back home. Very good price as well and I recommend to all. We would definitely like to come back!

L. O.A perfect stay with Bernie; a friendlier or more hospitable host you could not find. From the first floor window, there is a fine view of Lough Derg; my en suite room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bernie is a wonderful host and a fine ambassador for the Tipperary hinterlands of Lough Derg. I hope to be back again.
J. M.Bernie was so friendly and accommodating and the room was really cozy and had such a stunning view. Extra marks for the the mini kitchenette within the room, it surpasses most b&bs and it was very relaxing.
p. m.I can't recommend this place enough, the bedrooms are decorated to a modern high standard, there is off street parking, the host Bernie is a lovely person who looked after us really well, the bedroom had a mini fridge with fresh milk and chilled bottled water inside which was a lovely touch, there was also fresh fruit available in the bedroom too.
As for the local area, Dromineer is a stunning little village with a small harbour and multiple water activities available, kayaks, pedal boats etc.
There is a cafe for early morning breakfasts, also a pub which serves delicious food.
All of this is within a 2 minute walk of Salmon Island View.
We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed for an extra night.

M. M.This place is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The view from the sea view room is splendid. Bernie looks after your every need and nothing is too much for her. It is perfectly located to the local pub and restaurant only 50m down the road. I would highly recommend Salmon Island View.

House was very clean, fiew steps from the lake and we got a room with beatuful view.

Pub adjacent for a socially distanced meal or drink. Cafe nearby serving breakfast. Overall an excellent stay and highly recommended.
