R. B.We appreciate the friendliness and hospitality of the staff especially Hannah who served us and was really kind. The food was above expectations, steaks and the duck, but the desserts were the cherry on top. Creme brulee is a personal recommendation from this place, however carrot cake was extremely nice as well.
J.Great atmosphere in this gorgeous pub/restaurant. Terrific service from very friendly staff. Had a fillet steak here and it was one of the most tender steaks I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back. Pubic car park is near and on street car parking is limited but free after 5:30pm (check car park times on arrival).

F.Food was nicely done, very tasty. Compliments to the chef. Presentation was lovely, beef was cooked almost perfect.
Service was shockingly slow, dismal in comparison to any other restaurant in town.
Waited about 30 mins after being seated before being asked for a drink order. Then our group waited approximately 40+ minutes after eating for contact from service.
No check up to see if everything is alright /take extra drink order/take empty plates.
Dessert took a surprisingly long time from order to being tabled. (for ice cream!) it was nice though.
Also, Update the menus! I was surprised at the amount of things we wanted to order that had their recipe changed.
In my experience normally a waiter or waitress would tell you first of something is unavailable rather than having to come back and tell you after you've ordered!
Overall it felt very uncoordinated and sloppy. The kitchen and service need to communicate and work to a system. This visit was for my mother's birthday, it made me so sad to see her so disappointed.
J. K.Very good food, also quite attractive staff on the roster. Warm interior with a homely feel. Always have the football on the screens for those who are keen to peek the score. Serve above average pints but only because the taps are cleaned too regularly.
J.Had food here on Sunday, The food was lovely, i got duck. I was trying to cut a piece and my knife slipped and knocked the entire duck on the floor 🤦♂️ The staff came up to me and told me there was a new one on the way out! They didn't have to do that, so i was very grateful. Staff very friendly and food and pints were lovely. Thanks guys!

M.I eat here regularly, whether i'm just with my husband or were having a family meal with 6 people, the food & service is always outstanding 👌, the attention to detail is excellent, meals are always served to everyone at the table at the same time, the portion sizes are ideal & the flavour of the food is always a very high standard, with a variation of specials on offer each evening, the menu has something to suit everyone, & all members of staff are polite, friendly & extremely helpful,
I would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed
During these difficult times, we need to support local businesses as much as possible.
S.Came here last night there was 4 of us going for food for the first time in this area. We looked on the website and thought the menu looked incredible. We were dissapointed to get there and see they didnt actually serve any thai food or a few other things that were on the website that werent on the menu . We ordered the burger , steak and Duck which was so lovely. My friend ordered the carbonara and it was very dissappointing we all had a taste and it just tasted burnt it wasnt nice at all so unfortunately for my friend she didnt enjoy her mea but didnt want to say to the waiters . We all were happy with the Desserts the Chocolate fondant was fab too.
N.Hi Vivian Sorry I did leave a reply to your comment but I've only now realised it didnt post. The night we were in last we both got roast beef. Almost everything on the plate was cold and the beef was tough. However we were in tonight we both had 3 courses each one was as good as the next. The chicken supreme was excellent as good a dish as I've had in a while.

M. S.Dissappointed with our Christmas Eve visit. Only reservation we could get was 1-3. Only one other party at a table there when we arrived yet service very slow. The mash with my steak was tepid. No mash (had to ask for it) with husbands fish (not a great selection of veg with this either) or daughters duck. Menu has changed which is fair enough but a lot of beef options more than anything else. My son ordered chicken wings as starter which we were left short of. Much prefer the old style of wings that are separated rather than coming out in 4 large joined pieces. The 'pizza' on offer for kids menu were like two small dry bruchettas. About sizes of a Pringles crisp. We thought it was going to be 2 triangular pizza slices. No chicken nugget/goujon options for kids. Kids can be very fussy eaters and sometimes this is all they want. By time our mains had been served and finished we had to put more money in parking meter after 3pm. Had to ask for empty glasses to be cleared away. Food was being brought over but empty glasses building up as 5 children/5 adults drinking minerals and water. Place was not much busier and we had to ask for dessert menu. 2 of us asked for lemon tart to be told not available. Like I said, we were 2nd table to arrive upon opening and even at that upon leaving still not that busy .We hadnt been informed upon getting menus it wasnt available on what we thought was going to be a busy day. I'm sure it got busier later. This is a pity as it spoilt our day a little as we were looking forward to it as we ate there last Christmas Eve. I love Harrigans but felt need to let you know.

The food menu was broad and catered for all interests. The food itself was absolutely beautiful, very impressed! Staff were friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend visiting Harrigans for food and/or drinks. Five stars!
