Had the most amazing meal here this evening! Food was incredible and the staff are brilliant. Adi goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Half our family is vegetarian or vegan and the options are fantastic, chefs are happy to make the veggie dishes vegan and there’s some really lovely organic wine on offer too. Will definitely be back to sit down now that restrictions are over!

Ate here tonight for a birthday. Even if the food wasn't good I would visit again just for the impeccable service, but the food was unbelievable! Brilliant value for money. Couldn't recommend enough. The staffs are extremely thoughtful and offer great services. I can't eat spicy food but my friend likes spicy food so much. The manager comforted us that he could do something by separating the dish into 2 portions which one portion is not spicy and the other portion is spicy for us. The staff even frequently checks if we are alright with the food. Honestly, the food is delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Spent a fabulous evening in August with hubby in Jaipore sharing tasty delicious dishes. Cannot praise the owner Adi, Chef James, kitchen staff & waiting staff highly enough. The restaurant is welcoming & comfortable & customers are well looked after. The menu has something for everyone & the food is gorgeous..special mention to the garlic potatoes!! We have also availed of their takeaway service several times & are always beyond satisfied. Well done to a local business providing quality service & beautiful food!

Just had my dinner today. If you want to have a dining experience and want something authentic, its not the best place to consider. Interior was a bit dull. The price on the dining menu is a bit higher than their takeaway price (roughly over 50% higher, it may make some sense to have different price for takeaway and dinning in). For my case, food was over cooked, and not that great. And waiters seemed disconnected from the business. Their behaviour was nice though. The main course came without bread or rice (imagine 50% higher price for items than what you get listed online). So, you will have to pay for that separately. And that's also dear(!) in terms of what you would get in a small place like this. Update: Just after I posted the comment, I have got a call from the owner. Which shows their keen interest for improvement and have ears to their customers. I appreciate that. I was assured and wish they would do great next time.

The best biryani I've eaten since 1988 in London. I always rate an Indian restaurant based on its biryani, and this one did not disappoint. My friend had the vegetarian version, while I had a mixed meat and prawn biryani (not on the menu, but the kitchen was happy to oblige). The food was fragrant and delicious, while the service was prompt with everyone doing their best to ensure an enjoyable meal. I will definitely be back.

I had take away a few times from here always enjoyed them. A few weeks back I wanted to try the food straight from the kitchen. So it would be extra hot. I wasn't disappointed I hadn't booked, the owner was able to accommodate the two of us. I hadn't been in the restaurant side of the place before, just take away side. It was a nice. A relaxed environment. By chance met two couples during my visit who I knew. Took that as a good sign as they both had been to the restaurant before and were back for more. The server who took our order was pleasant, friendly and she was patient with taking the order. The owner came by later to make sure everything was ok, the level of customer service was excellent, the owner has a vast knowledge of the dishes available and how they were prepared which you would expect, hearing him speak to other customers with such passion made me hungry for things I hadn't even ordered. He also allowed customisation on the dishes to have it less spicy. Im sure a lot of places do that but its always nice to be offered. For me the spice and flavour were excellent and its the reason I choose Indian food. Although my go to would be a Chinese takeaway I do enjoy the freshness, the smells that Indian cuisine represents. I had ordered a creamy chicken tomato based dish with starter plate for two with chips, rice and popadoms. Chips were as you'd expect, the rest was full of fresh flavour and warmth. I ordered a tiger beer just for something to try, coupled with sparkling water. Didn't finish all the starters so there was half a dinner left of which we took home. Money wise it was good value, as I ended up with a big Indian breakfast :) I didn't try the desserts, perhaps the next time I will. Overall the experience was nice, I will be returning again but I may skip the starters for two unless im starving. A+ Recommended

Myself and my wife booked a table tonight (18th Dec). On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff. We ordered 2 starters and mains. Consistently excellent. A new addition to the restaurant is having Cobra on tap. I've eaten in alot of Indian restaurants here and in the UK and this is one of best. The best restaurant in Newbridge by a mile. Adi and the staff are so friendly. James the chef always takes time out to pop out to the table to see if your enjoying your meal and to have a chat. Such a nice touch. Would highly recommend this restaurant. 10 out of 10.

Jaipore makes the best Indian food I have ever tasted, this evening I had the Chicken Tikka Lavabdar (Hot version) which was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. I have eaten in the restaurant in the past and the take away is every bit as wonderful as eating in, the only downside to the takeaway is not getting to talk to the lovely staff, always friendly and helpful in suggesting something new to try. Approximately 5.5 seconds after they lifted the 5km ban on travel (COVID) my husband was not quite breaking the speed limit to Newbridge because we have been SUFFERING for a Jaipore curry. It’s a drive away from us anyway, and we pass quite a few Indian restaurants and take-aways to get there, but Jaipore’s food - and more importantly - customer service, is worth a drive twice as long. I’m a boring eater, and tend to order the same thing, but back in the days when you could ‘sit in’, Adi (the manager) made some recommendations that I’ve been ordering ever since. The saag paneer is so moreish that I order that AND a curry! Adi is the very definition of a gentleman; very knowledgeable and generous with that knowledge. James, the chef, is a genius of spices and can ‘tone down’ or ‘turn up’ different notes of a dish so the cowardly amongst us can still order from the fiery side of the menu. Jaipore is a staple in our house and I wish I could offer them a higher recommendation than 5 stars. It’s a testament to them that; in the middle of a pandemic; they were as busy as usual when my husband called. Very, very highly recommended.

Beautiful food, while eating in they actually remembered what I like to accompany my curry. Only downside is the price which is a bit high, and no side dishes available. Also having to pay for poppadoms is a bit much as most restaurants offer them free, little extras like that make a customer want to come back. Can’t understand why the servers must also carry hot dishes in their hands one by one I think the introduction of trays would make for more efficient service or at least use a serving cloth so fingers and thumbs are not used along the side of the dish I’m about to eat. Beautiful restaurant though and food is very good could be amazing with few little changes

I have had take away Indian food in Ireland before and did not like it. My daughter told me about how good jaipore was I was not disappointed. Yes you don't get sides with the price, they are extra, but I don't see that a reason to mark down the quality of the food. We had take away. Amazing. My wife always feels bloated after Chinese, chipper or pizza. No bloating after Jaipores food. I also made a mistake on my order online, restaurant copped this and rang me. Excellent service. Can't wait to to go to the restaurant for a meal.

My wife and I do love Indian food. After spending half a year in the Subcontinent, I have to admit having a particular taste to it and am quite often disappointed in Indian restaurants abroad. Well, in this case, the food simply brought me back. At the first bite on my Samosa, I could hear the busy streets of Kolkata, the honks, the crowd, ... It came crescendo This must be the single best Indian restaurant I've been to in years ! The food is fresh and wonderfully prepared, staff is grand, you immediately feel welcomed. The "Early Bird" menu is absolutely perfect and the selection caters for vegetarians and non-veg alike. Spice level like, "Normal Indian" is set at medium-hot. Medium is therefore spice for soft palates, Mild is clearly mild and great. I warmly recommend !

A hidden treasure on a back street in Newbridge. Had a delicious meal here last Friday night with my pal. Her starters wasn’t so good though. Onion bhaji that looked more like an onion ring and had been heated in microwave as it was served piping hot seconds after placing the order. But was stodgy half way through. However both our main courses were AMAZING. My pal had a vegetarian curry and I had Chicken Lababdar. Lots of pilau rice and gorgeous fresh garlic & coriander naan bread. The chef came out to table with a complimentary bowl of mixed vegetables cooked with Indian flavors. These were a delicious unexpected treat but far too big for us to finish. I will definitely go back. The staff were young girls full of enthusiasm asking us every 5 minutes if everything was ok. We did get a bit fed up with that interruption by end of meal. But I wouldn’t like to knock their enthusiasm as I’d prefer it to nothing at all like in some restaurants!
