d. w.Are here 2+2 on evening of 18th October. Fantastic food but they genuinely couldn’t give a fiddlers about Covid concerns. Cert didn’t matter, and 2 other groups arrived with no masks at all and that didn’t matter either. If the state have to shutdown businesses again due to Covid numbers, then this is the first place other businesses should point the finger at.

What an amazing place to eat the goats cheese starter is to die for oh Holy moly and then the carbonara this is the best one I've ever had in my whole life was there last night and from start to finish it was just unreal the staff are so friendly and well trained. You can glam up and enjoy a romantic meal or likewise we saw families having a great time :) Food was yum & inspired me to make something similar at home the next day!

L. L.Passing through Newbridge so stopped in for food. Availed of the early bird special for €16 for 2 courses. My husband had the mushy peas fish and chips. I had bruschetta and the classic burger. Great value for 2 courses. The bruschetta was fine, the classic burger was fabulous, great quality and extremely tasty, chips were a bit on oily side for me but I didnt mind as I'm not a big chip fan. I'd have preferred a bigger portion of salad and no chips but I didnt ask so possibly they would have been happy to accommodate. The battered fish was overdone slightly but fine for the price. The portion of mushy peas would fill an egg cup, which for us was disappointing as we are veg lovers. If you're a fan of salads and vegetables this may not be the place for you. Veg was a token part of our meal.
For those a little cautious regarding covid measures they had plenty of handsanitiser available, even on the tables which was a nice touch, they were keeping a list of contact details for customers for tracking and tracking. Serving staff wore face shields but front of house and kitchen staff werent wearing any masks, for me this left me uncomfortable. Personally I like to feel safe in a public place and not to have to think about Corona virus. Overall not a bad place to stop if your ok with above

G.The mothers cooking has nothing on this restaurant, I've been eating out of here since the lockdown started and thankfully I'll never need to go hunting for the best food in town again because this level of delicious can not be found anywhere else in town or almost the county I would imagine. If this place was in the far end of Kerry I'd make it my business to make a weekly trip.
Seriously though, food is amazing and delivery is always much quicker than estimated. Delivery dude is sound out and always pleasant and has a smile on his face (for what I can make out from behind the mask) Cant wait till lockdown is over and i can visit the restaurant.

The decor is clean and the owners and staff put a lot of effort in. It's a bit of a jaunt for us so wouldn't go out of our way - but if we're passing well go again.

c. g.Me and my dad drive up from Carlow to this restaurant every Saturday because of the gluten free options, when the food arrives it is always fresh and the staff are lovely. Recently we have bought family members to dine out with us, we were greeted at the door the food came quickly and the staff made sure everything was ok. We met Nino who made sure that the food was OK and was very friendly.
Overall this restaurant is Great would highly recommend.

Given the current crisis we all are facing, even the hand sanitizer didnt seem to be enforced or even encouraged, i even spoted a waitress take her phone out of her pocket, handled it for a few minutes then proceeded to wait on a table,.
I know i could have said something on the night but its not an oversight, it was a decision made not to wear the shields or masks, good hygiene practice was not taught.
Im sure the team are clean people but cross contamination is a huge part of HACCP and even before Covid the procedures on good hygiene were not practised given the heightened need.
Forgive the rating as both the food and service were brilliant but the management are intentionally neglecting the safety of their team and customers.

D.Went there on a busy evening for my birthday dinner. On this occasion rather sad experience. Due to some misunderstanding by kitchens staff and floor staff we waited for food more than hour. Food came out of kitchen quite speedy for everyone else...
When waiter realised that he/she apologised to us and served drink and dessert on the house. Which was the positive side of evening as dessert was really tasty not like food. Too many shortcuts taken just to make some kind a food served to us at all. Looking at menu I believe that food could be quite exciting and good but not on this occasion. Sorry!

C. D.Have visited here a few times but was very disappointed tonight. Went for dinner with family and all started out good but then all went down hill. Children's menu says any half portion of pasta but when we tried to order the prawn pasta we were told no that wasn't allowed why say any pasta when clearly is isn't any pasta dish. Ordered food and starters great mains great apart from being left without cutlery after starter. We then had to wait and wait. Then get up and go get staff member to try get desert menu. Then we had to get up and go get someone to take the order. 30mins on from getting desert menu still no desert. Eventually got a waiter who tried organising desert kids are well fed up at this point. Waiter then questioned time we were waiting which I wasn't impressed with but I believe he was doing what someone told him to do. I called manager to complain and to my horror when I said the delays would put us off going back his response was well I can't force you to come back. Seriously what type of customer care is that. I appreciate it's a busy place but the table of 6 beside us managed to order desert and get it to table within 5 mins I pointed it out but was told well kitchen was busy. Get more staff so don't accuse customers of exaggerated waiting times. Very poor service felt sorry for waiting staff as management seem to be to issue.

D. M.One of our favourites. Always get great food here. It cayers for everyone - Families are welcome all of the time but it's also an intimate setting after about 8pm. They keep the water topped up at the table and also have a nice selection of wines to go with the extensive a la carte menu. The desserts are very tasty with a special to choose from for each course of your meal too!

Personale molto cortese e disponibile Credo che manchi la "cultura" del ristorante italiano.,tipo: appena preso l'ordine portare subito da bere.
