Everything sold in this excellent cafe is freshly made on the premises. The prices are very modest, and are not an accurate measure of the wonderful quality of the food on offer. All the fresh cream cakes contain real dairy cream. The jams and preserves are top notch, again all produced on the premises. The larger cakes for slicing and sharing are particularly good value. Stradbally is probably best known for Electric Picnic, but Court Restaurant deserves recognition also.

Had a meal here at almost closing time Saturday evening 7th march absolutely fabulous food and the restaurant was spotlessly clean and the decor is beautiful a very nice lady served I couldn't recommend it enough in the heart of co laois

We had 2 slices of beautiful apple pie, plus pot of tea and a cappuccino for fourteen Euros, which we thought was a little pricey.
