Perfect place to have a wonderful meal. Even a lunch or a dinner. Various selection on the menu. Starters and mains are in excellent combination. Very good prices, top quality food. Beautiful and tasty desserts. Various selection of beers and wines. All of these together with ocean view from the terrace. It's a "must visit" place for sure, one of my favourite in this area.

Excellent food, wonderfully presented. Standard beers on tap and a wide selection of craft bottles. The hamburger is a homemade patty cooked well with fresh lettuce on a brioche bun served with hot crispy chips. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly with the best garlic butter. Couldn't tell if the mash potatoes were made from scratch. The brownie is more like chocolate cake. Music selection is mellow acoustic covers.

Pretty good food with amazing views. They can be accommodating if you call ahead but always call before going in during the busy season. They fill up quickly with reservations.

Food was not what we expected from this place...seemed to be a quiet spot and expected basic food..big surprise..outstanding! Even the breakfast here is first class,staff brilliant too and gave us great help when our son suddenly fell I'll. Worth going out of your way

Beach Bar Restaurant is part of Barley Cove Hotel pitched high above the beach and rolling sea. Options to eat drink inside pleasant bar or on balciny with fantastic views of all that lovely West Cork area. Food was lovely I liked the way the salad was served in a thinly sliced length cucumber. Service and welcome just right.

We stopped by for lunch on our way back from Mizen head station. From the outside the hotel doesn't look impressive, but from the bay side it marvelous. We also had one of the best lunch here (fish & chips and tomato based seafood chowder). Very kind staff too. Make sure to stroll around the beach afterwards. The waiter was very helpful in giving advice for our upcoming tour to Bantry and Glengarrif.

One of my favorite places to visit when i am down in West Cork. Food is top class but the view from the hotel is second to none. Definitely worth a visit.
