C. X.Amazing food with huge portions. Probably had the best seafood chowder I ever had here. The service is prompt but not pushy.
T. F.Be ready to be warmed by the fire in this very old and cozy restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive. Finnegan’s has a large wine selection and great food for a very good price. We dined from the Christmas menu. The generously proportioned three course meal was more food than I could eat at a very inexpensive cost. I had the Cesar salad with Grill d chicken, the Hereford sirloin that came with mashed potatoes, deep fried baked potatoes, a serving of I believe sweet potatoes and carrots, Brussels sprouts, sliced carrots, green beans and a 10 oz steak cooked to perfection. I regretfully declined the wonderful selection of deserts, also included within the price of the meal price since I was too full to eat another bite.
In all, a very fulfilling and relaxing experience!
P. M.We dropped into Finnegan's on short notice last Saturday night and were really glad we did. We had our baby with us so the waiter brought out a high chair and moved some other tables so we had plenty of room for manoeuvring. The food was top notch the as well as the service. It seemed like there was hardly no wait between the courses, which is really good when you have a baby with you, but the meal was by no means rushed. The Atmosphere and ambiance of this place is unlike any other restaurant in Kerry and one we hope to return to regularly.
J. S.My wife and I were looking for a nice place for dinner within walking distance of our hotel and came across Finnegan’s while checking on line. What a nice find! It’s located in the lower level so it’s like being in a wine cellar. Ilene and her staff were warm and caring while the food was delicious. It was a price fixe meal that was well worth the reasonable cost. Well done!

Followed by a great bread & butter pudding for dessert. All served by super-friendly-bend-over-backwards-to-help-local-staff

The prix fixe menu was affordable and delicious. I would recommend the seafood chowder, goat cheese salad, chocolate cake and the creme brulee!
