P. G.Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. We got take away and went to Banna Strand to eat. The batter on the monkfish scampi was light and crunchy and delicious. This is going on the special treat list. Superb..

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was not inexpensive but portions were good for the price.
All the seafood was fresh and had great flavor. The desserts were good but not as good as the mains. Oysters and mussels were amazing!

Also bought their prawn cocktail which is the nicest I've had. Am looking forward to getting a takeaway here next time and having it at their picnic benches!

This restaurant is a real seafood speciality with a variety of rich creamy sauces and dressings. The menu also had a steak and chicken option .
I personally found the food a little too rich but other members of my family really e enjoyed it. I would say it was expensive for what we got.
The restaurant itself was upstairs in a beautiful location and had lovely views of the bay. However I did not notice any lift so I'm not sure if it would be suitable for anyone with mobility problems
R. s.Amazing fresh fish cooked to perfection , talented chefs and excellent front of house staff. The restaurant is comfortable, inviting and has the most amazing views. Very reasonably priced considering the standard of food. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, will definitely be making this place a regular.

V. M.Our second visit to this restaurant. Once for dinner and today for lunch. I was a picky customer, not wanting beer on my fish, or mushy peas or tartar sauce. No problem! (Salad included) Got the most delicious - and huge- plate of battered cod, -done especially for me- with oodles of chips and salad. I was not able to finish the meal. My husband's chowder is the best of four places we have had it. Top marks all round, to the staff for their pleasantness and accommodation and to the kitchen staff for a truly delicious meal and great value for money.

Leider ist zur Zeit (7.8.2021) das Restaurant geschlossen. Die "to go" bereiteten Gerichte weisen vermutlich die gleiche in anderen Rezensionen beschriebene Qualität auf. Wir waren jedenfalls völlig zufrieden. Das Ganze aus der angebotenen Verpackung zu verzehren, ist für einen Gast aus der Fremde dann leider sehr unpraktisch.

You can also order takeout food. The service is excellent and the treatment towards the clients is second to none, without a doubt one of the best places where I have had the pleasure of eating. Lugar un poco alejado de Tralee, pero lugar que merece la pena disfrutar. Tiene una comida excelente, dispone de una pequeña tienda en la que se vende pescado fresco, algunos vinos resfrescos y comidas varias. Tambien se puede pedir comida para llevar. El servicio es excelente y el trato hacia los clientes insuperable, sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores sitios en los que he tenido el placer de comer. No hace falta decir que la amabilidad de los trabajadores y la atencion del dueño es constante y admirable! Sin más, un lugar de 10!!
