Stopped here by chance for a quick lunch and would highly recommend. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was fabulous, beautifully presented and plates were cleared by all. Excellent restaurant

First time in Paddy Burkes Bar, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a Bar menu good variety of starters, mains and desserts. Had fish and chips, fish was excellent very light beer batter. A side salad accompanied the mains. Overall food was excellent and fantastic service. It is evident that Paddy Burkes has a great reputation. Definitely visit again

Staff wasn't too friendly! Waitress was lovely, but some guy who seemed like the manager or owner said loudly, "did they pay?" after we paid and were getting up to leave.
If you're going to accuse someone of leaving before they paid, I definitely recommend doing it discretely.
We went in for a quick oyster stop and while the oysters were great, that left a bad taste in my mouth.

We had my grandson Teddy's christening party here and i would highly recommend this venue, Mary and staff your attention to detail was admirable. Warm inviting and delicious food. Thank you Mary from proud granny Mary Lane. 16/10/21.

My family and I went to paddy burkes this evening for dinner and it was absolutely delicious as always. Mary and her team were down to us often to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. Nothing was a problem. It was very busy and they made us feel very welcome. Looking forward to going back there again. Thanks Mary.

Took the kids here on a recent trip to Galway. My expectation of kids meals is generally not that hight but fish fingers turned out to be beautiful homemade cod gougons for €5. All served with actual hand cut chips. Really great food all around.

Had fish and chips here yesterday and my friend had the chicken burger. Superservice and delicious food and perfect portions at reasonable prices. Will be back! Thanks so much

Really good food. The oysters were superb and the hamburger was good quality meat. We also had the cheesecake with raspberry and white chocolate. I'll definitely go again

Great food and service

Tasty food in a very old pub, existing 100s of years ago and established as a pub in the last century, it is obvious why this place has lasted so long

We haven't been here in years and I have to say the standards have certainly improved. Everything we eat was lovely. The service and friendly and very polite. The food was fresh, it didn't take a long time to come to the table and everything was so tasty, it's one of the best 3 course meal I've had in a while. We only planned on having a mains but the menu was to tempting and it didn't disappoint. Look forward to visiting again.

I went to Paddy Burke’s with a friend on Friday evening for dinner and I have to say it was magnificent. The menu to start with has so much to choose from, the food was so tasty and the staff were so friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Have dined here many times in the past few months. The food can only be described as exceptional and the service is prompt. Liam, who served us on a couple of occasions, is a great addition to the team. Also really enjoy the daily lunch specials that are reasonably priced.

Beautiful Restaurant, ate here this evening food was unreal, top class, well done to your Chef. Mary and manager, didn’t get his name, were so welcoming and pleasant as were the staff. Would highly recommend a visit you certainly would not be disappointed.

Very good, Liam the manager is a gentleman, knows how to treat a customer, a regular, if he knows the face, fair play to him in these funny times, it means a lot, even I only go out once a week.

What a lovely place to visit for a drink, some delicious bar or restaurant food & great service. Food is fresh, portions are excellent and presentation good.
Service in both the bar and restaurant is excellent. Staff are welcoming, friendly and happy to answer questions even when run off their feet, you, their customer, are their number one priority!! A special mention /thank you to both Ashling & Laura for making our visit so special.
Paddy Burke’s is a little gem & a fantastic find & a must visit venue .

Excellent seafood in a traditional style Irish pub.

Food was unreal as always. Sadly the service was not as good as the food!

Excellent food, staff were very helpful and so friendly. Ordered 2 burgers and asked for 1 without onion ring and when food arrived, onions were not in salad and no coleslaw on plate. Very impressed.
P. S.
Very cool pub. The outside has a thatched roof and a separate bar area inside had a thatched roof so you could see it up close. The day we were there, fresh oysters on the half shell were available. They had a good selection of beers on tap, including some local brews. If you are looking for authenticity, this is a good place to visit.

Cosy atmosphere - you can forget about the busy road outside the window. Food is lovely wholesome, satisfying and delicious. I had the battered haddock which was cooked to perfection, melting my mouth. The homemade chocolate cheesecake was delightful, light and malty. Nice place to stop on the old Galway road.

Great mussels, and a really good beef roast with mashed potatoes and vegs. Don't leave without trying the homemade brown bread (preferably dipped in the mussel broth). Charming decor, and very friendly staff.

This pub is so cute! It has a big stove down one end, snug booth seating and it's dog friendly! The Guinness and smithwicks were mighty pints too! Didn't have food unfortunately!

We ate here on our on night in Galway, was a great meal, fresh mussels and a Stout, was delicious. We were the only ones sitting down, there were a couple people at the bar but we had a very quiet nice meal together :)

Always loved the food here in the past. Great little place to visit. On this occasion food was just ok. Service was good. Be wary what you order. Always ask the menu to be explained before you order

Went here after a hard day at the allotment looking for some decent pub grub. First thing you realise is how expensive the place is. My wife was going to get fish and chips but then realised it was over 17 euro. This seems excessive. We also ordered garlic mushroom starter which was 7 euro for about 10 mushrooms and about gallon of garlic mayo. Never quite understood the obsession w ith this stuff.
Kids meals here are affordable and the burgers are reasonable too and according to my wife they are good. I'm vegetarian however so I had pizza as a choice and nothing else. Basically it was a base with cheese and the tiniest amount of sauce.i went for the veggie pizza which had a bunch of toppings which was reasonably spread around. The pizza lacked flavour and was pretty poor and I know 5 minutes up the road in oranmore you can get pizza from 5 different places all better than this and I'm including apache here which is not the best.
I think if you have 100 quid to spend and want seafood you'd do better but don't bother otherwise.
It gets a 3 because my son says the chicken was as good as he gets at home when we home made it. Saving grace here.
