Been there twice already had the tenders , chicken burger and side salad everything is amazing the tenders have such a nice crisp batter and the chicken burger could not be bigger and such great Flavour too ! Menu has something for everyone with the side salad being best of all if has seeds and great dressing and even pickled onion and pickles such delicious and fresh food. Hand down 10/10

Ordered the posh chips, chicken tenders and beef burger. You could tell that the food was freshly made and seasoned in house. Drove home to eat it and it traveled well 15 minutes in the road. Both of us really enjoyed our food and will be back 🙂 Fair play to the staff!

Genuinely the best chipper I've eaten. Couldn't fault a thing. I had the fish and my friend had a double burger and everything was perfect, it's a welcome change from heavy batter and soggy chips.

I was skeptical ordering food after reading some of the reviews on here. But any preconceived notions I had were soon squashed when the food arrived. The food was delivered hot. The chips were plentiful, quality and not soggy, stuck together and dripping in grease. The vegan burger was very big and filling. The side salad (€3.50) was not like your usual side salad (that you would pay €3.50 for), as it contained quality ingredients like kimchi and was full of new flavours. The house made slaw was delicious and I have plenty left over for lunch. The takeaway, it is the best fast food that I have tried in Tramore in a while. It's low cost, the portions are big and you don't feel sick after pigging out on it as it contains nutritious ingredients, it's healthy for fast food and it's not dripping with grease. Give it a go 10/10

Had the pulled pork burger and the posh chips at the weekend and have to say they were immense. The combinations of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients is everything that make this place fancy . The chips were the nicest I have ever tasted. Well worth a visit, only 2 weeks open and the standard is top notch, friendly staff with an old school feel.

Spent the last week in Tramore but unfortunately only came across Fancy Chips on our last day here. I can't recommend it highly enough. My brother and I had the vegan burgers and chips and both were delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly - I look forward to coming back here again!!

Beef burger - beautifully cooked, very flavorful. Dirty chips: recommend having a vented lid of some sort to prevent condensation dripping back on the chips and making some of them soggy. Pepper sauce phenomenal. Had garlic mayo which tasted homemade. Generous portions. Could you add Taco chips to the menu?

I wasn’t going to leave a review however I felt compelled to after seeing so many on here. To be honest I’m more shocked at how the business owner is responding to constructive criticism and if not the food, I think the unprofessional manner people are being responded to in, will stop people returning here. I understand as a business owner it must be frustrating when paying customers don’t see your highly thought out menu in the way you do, but this criticism needs to be taken onboard. I have studied and worked within the food industry for almost 6 years. A huge element when setting up a food business is testing how the product travels when ordered for take out. I, like many people, was disappointed with how soggy the bun was once I had driven home to eat the pulled pork burger. The bottom bun was soaking up so much juice I just discarded it and ate it like an open sandwich. I see you mentioning to many people that the burger must have been sitting there for far too long before eating it if it’s soggy. This isn’t the point. As a food business you should be preparing all your dishes, leaving them in their packaging for 20 minutes, and tasting for yourself (I assume Most customers will get home within 20 minutes). When you see this yourself, you will realise that it is infact soggy. There are many solutions to this, much better ones than passive aggressive responses to customers, such as rearranging the burger and using more lettuce below the meat to ensure juices are collected better. It’s a trial and error process, and takes some research, I’m sure many other takeaways have had to come up with innovative ways to ensure their food travels well. I enjoyed all other parts of my meal, the chips were slim and crunchy but that’s how I like mine, and also the fish was really fresh. I hope you can take this Criticism on board and perhaps think about changing your tone when responding to customers. All the best.

Exactly what it says on the tin . Restaurant quality food to take home . I had the fish and chips and calamari, outstanding. A much needed addition to our town . Definitely will be back again .

Fancy Chips can't decide if it is a chipper or something a bit more fancy. But in reality it's neither. A few options for sitting inside if the seats are available, but not guaranteed and can't be booked. A few bits of grated spring onion don't make chips fancy. We ordered ahead by 35 mins and still had a 10 min wait when we got there, and had to keep 2 starving kids occupied while we waited. Wasn't impressed. To give Fancy Chips the benefit of the doubt, it was relatively new when we were there, so hopefully they've gotten over any teething issues since. Has lots of potential, if they sort out the waiting times.

Fanciest chips ive ever had.The burger was both moist and flavorsome in equal measure.I could roll around in that dirty sauce all night. My meal tonight is EXACTLY what daddy likes. Great chips, great service and one very satisfied customer.

I finally got a chance to eat at Fancy Chips and it was outstanding. The Chicken burger is the real deal and seriously yum. I went for the posh chips too and they were lovely. Well done to Kevin Walsh and his team for giving Tramore another great food option.
