L. S.This is a great chippers. Great selection of food. Their 1/4 pounders with cheese in particular are very nice. There is seating inside and outside. The staff are lovely and the price is very reasonable.

O.Visited this food establishment today, and I was delighted to find a place especialy fast food establishment in Wexford that has a gluten free option on their menu, the shop is spotless and staff are mannerly and food is served fairly quickly and it's is extremely apitising and extremely tasteful to eat, I recommend if your in Wexford town please make one trip to their store for their fish and chips and if u have gluten diet requirements they can more than adequately provide for, I will be coming back again.

J. A.Just been there this Saturday 13th June. A huge portion of delicious fish covered in just the right amount of batter and the perfect number of chips. I believe it's cooked in beef dripping, which is the proper way.
Very jolly service too. Don't bother with the other place. I tried it in 2018 and it's not a patch on Sharkeys.
M. P.Excellent fish and chips. That's what you come to this place for and not veggie burgers or chicken goujons lol! The fish quality is better than what you would get in most more expensive restaurants. Haddock beats the cod imo as not so much cod caught around Ireland anymore.

J. W.Food is quite good. However, cleanliness could be improved - the tables tend to be quite greasy and sticky. The service is also quite slow - generally waiting 15 mins or more for a bag of chips. Presumeably they are cooked fresh.

Also not in link with food but they do use a lot of paper/plastic container even if you eat in, which is producing lot of waste. If you are sensitive to these kind of issues it may not be the best place to go.

T.Excellent service,fantastic selection of fresh fish and divine chips,i have traveled all over Ireland had fish suppers in England Scotland & Wales for over 40 years but in my opinion Sharky's of Wexford is the catch of Europe(sorry about the pun)the freshest fish,home made chips,mushy peas,washed down with a drink for less than 11 euro p.p. that is brilliant value for money in Dublin we had Burdocks( now ceased trading) sadly missed next time were in Wexford this is the best plaice when the chips are down by far,enjoy your meal deal.
