This is a private member's sailing club. It has a range of sailing group's, from young children sailing oppies progressing to toppers and lasers. Adults sail mainly Shannon One Design (SOD) and Squibs. There is also a range of private yachts that members are invited to crew. The club has a range of courses for young and adults in power boat and sailing. There is a substantial club house and camp site, for social and club events. As a parent bringing a child to sailing classes, you end up being roped in and now I am sailing, power boating and Bosan maintaining club boats. Upto 5 years ago, I had never sailed, now it has become a big part of our families life
