This was an excellent tour. All of the people were incredibly nice in the planning stages and very responsive. The tour itself was very high-quality. The accommodations were exceptional. Just returned from a fantastic tour set up by Love Irish Tours. Promised my grandson that I would take him to Ireland when he graduated from high school (I may have been drinking at the time) and he held me to my promise. I'm very.glad he did. Love Irish Tours set up all in-country transportation and accommodations for us, as well as providing a superb guide. I've traveled quite a lot for business, and the hotels arranged for us were some of the best I've ever visited. I'm not sure what magic Love Irish Tours wields, but everywhere we went we were treated like honored guests. Breakfast and dinner at every hotel were first-rate, as was the friendly service of the staff. Most important, Paul, our guide, generously shared his wealth of knowledge, his sense of humor, and his impressive driving skills (I'm VERY happy I was able to leave the driving to him!). He simply could not have done a better job of taking care of us. I'm very grateful to him and Niall at Love Irish Tours for all they did for us. Now that I've described the trip to my wife, I have to set up a return visit ( a lovely challenge to face!). I plan to start by contacting Love Irish Tours.

My wife, son, and I had a great time in Ireland. Niall from Love Irish Tours was very responsive and accommodating in putting together an amazing two-week tour that covered 2630 km and included breathtaking landscapes, castles, and museums. He helped us to navigate the changing COVID-19 regulations and requirements. I recently returned from a 12 day tour of Ireland with my four sisters. It was the most amazing time from start to finish. The trip was postponed several times due to the pandemic and Love Irish Tours worked with us each time with kindness and consideration. My partner, Sharon, and I did the 10 day loop tour, in October 2021, with Love Irish tours.. It was an absolutely wonderful, awesome experience. We give it 5 stars in all catagories. The Irish country side was so beautiful, we enjoyed the castles and cathedrals so much. Hotels and meals were definitely upscale, much more than we expected. We must say that our driver/guide, Finn Connell, definitely made the experience so enjoyable. We appreciate Finn's concern for details, promptness, humor, and above all, safety. Finn 's knowledge of history, legends and people of the places visited made it so personal and interesting. Two of our co travelers had some health issues, Finn went the extra mile to help them. My wife and I recently traveled from the California to Ireland and Love Irish did an excellent job customizing our itinerary to fit our time schedule and our desired cities to visit. Orla was fabulous in making sure details were worked out, including those ever changing COVID requirements. Once on the ground, our driver Brian, well he was just the absolute best - a perfect blend of detailed historian, tour guide, and comedian to keep us entertained the entire week. And a suggestion, leave the driving to the Irish. as we left the hotel the first morning, I realized I wouldn't be prepared to drive on the left side of the road. Planning another trip for my wife, daughter, mother, and mother-in-law so they can have the same type of experience and will be using Love Irish Tours again and suggest you do the same.

We worked with Orla at Love Irish Tours for our first trip from the U.S. to Ireland. Five stars doesn't come close to the wonderful holiday she put together for us. She provided us the perfect experience that far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a variety of hotels and Bed and Breakfasts that enhanced the overall experience. Niall from Love Irish Tours office was wonderful to communicate with, He answered all our questions and responded to any concerns we had. I chose the 10-day loop tour Ireland based on the professionalism of Niall and I was not disappointed. The hotels were 4 or 5 star accommodations in great locations and we were allowed to order dinner off the menu in the hotel restaurants. Our meals were in the hotels because of Covid-19 and the food was excellent. Kieran was our driver. We had a small 29-passenger bus and we only had eight people on our tour so it was like a maily travelling together. Kieran was fantastic because he knew Ireland so very well. He drove us all through the countryside and took us to places that were absolutely breathtaking. The castles, ruins, sheep grazing, mountains- everything you could possibly imagine Ireland to be even taking us to his favority photo stops. He was very accommodating to all of our needs as well. I highly recommend using Love Irish Tours! You will not be disappointed!!!!! Also Edel, owner of Love Irish Tours, and her staff worked until 11 PM on our last night to solve a problem with getting our Covid-19 test results so that we would not have a problem at the airport. We postponed this trip 3 times. Aidan Brennan and Patricia Taafe were patient and helpful every time. Aidan helped us plan initially and all he had to work with was me saying I want castles and history and I can't drive on the left lol! So we had a guide/driver for 6 days, Paul McGroary. If you get the chance, ask for Paul! The accommodation varied from B and B to very upscale. Stayed in a castle hotel one night - awesome! Favorite is Brooks in Dublin - best beds. I highly recommend Love Irish Tours for the up close and personal experience of Ireland.

My husband and I just came home from an 8 day Love Irish Tour. We were on a coach tour with a total of 11 people. It was wonderful! Kieran Harten was our guide and he was fantastic! A friend and I took one of these tours and it was fabulous. I'm not a big fan of tour groups for a variety of reasons, but this tour showed me the argument in favor of them. We went places that I would have never been able to go on my own because I would have had to rent a car and then navigate narrow, windy roads. Seamus was knowledgeable, friendly, personable, flexible, and a great driver too of course. Great company! Some strong storms came through only days before our arrival, and before I could even call to ask if any of our locations had been affected Love Irish Tours had already made appropriate changes to our itinerary and various reservations to keep us away from areas with downed trees and power outages. We actually began working with two touring groups simultaneously and Love Irish Tours answered all our questions and simplified the entire process that we chose them to help us. We worked with a wonderful lady, Katrina Seery. Over the coarse of months many changes took place, but solutions were found for all our questions and anxiety. A group of 12 of us used Love Irish Tours to help celebrate the 95th birthday of a member of our family. The preparation done between my cousin and Love Irish Tours was truly amazing. We needed a customized tour as our goal was to visit places, some off the beaten path, that were a part of family history, and they were most accommodating. Can't say enough about Kieran, our driver and guide. He was a masterful driver of the 16-passenger van, and provided us with a number of side trips and stops that complemented our established itinerary. Some general stops included Glendalough, Ballinakill, Cork, Cobh, Kinsdale, the Skellig Islands, Galway, and Bunratty Castle. He was extremely knowledgeable of everything Ireland - history, culture, the arts, flora, fauna, and current events affecting the country. What he didn't know, he found out. He truly made the trip. Our lodging needs required those that could accommodate seniors, and we were not disappointed. They were luxurious and varied between the modern to staying at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel. It was evident Love Irish Tours is passionate about not only sharing its homeland with visitors, but ensuring their clients a visit that is unforgettable.

It's hard to believe that it is a year later and I'm writing another review! That should tell you everything you need to know about Love Irish Tours. We used them last year (see prior review) and everything went without a single hitch so we used them again this year. Yes, we went back this year! Ireland is one of my favorite places and what we didn't see last year we were able to see this year and even some of our favorites again. We did the self-driving tour both times and I was able to tell Edel what we wanted to do and she made it happen. Once again the hotels were great and we were treated like old friends. I just got back yesterday from a 1 week private escorted tour with Love Irish. I could not have gone better. I'll admit many of the doubters on here made me nervous but it went so smooth. Claire was in constant contact before the trip and changed plans with my wishes. She got in touch with me 48 hours before we left with drivers name and number. Gerry our fantastic driver was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival and my group of 6 got a comfortable 15 i believe person Mercedes van with leather seats that allowed us all to sleep when needed and have our own row. All the hotel booking when exactly how promised and were a great collection of 4 and 5 star. Gerry and I would go over the itinerary the day before and he would let me know how we would be for time. There is an 8 hour day limit but one day we went over and no extra charge. We traveled to Belfast, Donegal, Galway, and Dublin. Gerry would provide historical background when we had questions and gave us a great little tour of Derry. He provided some excellent restaurant recommendations in Galway as well. My group consisted of 6 high school athletes and like most teenagers sometimes arrived at the van 5-10 mins after we said but Gerry was patient and always had a smile. We did the rope bridge, black taxi tour, Giant's Causeway and Derry murals. We also did hawk walks at Ashford Castle, caving near Doolin w/ the Cliffs, and Gaelic Games.. Claire checked in throughout the trip. The cost was great value compared to others. I will def use again !

Our family (2- 60 yr olds and 5-30 yr olds) booked a tour for 6 days from I love Irish Tours. I was afraid we might not get along with the driver/guide. That was put the rest the minute we met Martin. He asked us what we wanted to do and then took over how it get it all accomplished. We never waited in a line at any of the “top places to visit”. He was fun and knowledgeable! We all had a great time and were sad to say goodby to Martin and Ireland. Just returned home from an 8-day tour--I could never have put together such an awesome trip so affordably! We visited castles, abbeys, cliffs, breweries and parks. Neil, our tour guide, was terrific and knowledgeable, and we learned a great deal about Irish politics, history, music and sports. We stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels, and had incredible meals. As you can tell, I totally recommend booking your Irish trip though this wonderful company!

We absolutely loved our tour of Ireland with CIE and Love Irish Tours. We did the Best of Ireland South. Everything was so well-planned and organized. The places chosen for the week were great and fun! Hotels and food, especially dinners, were top-notch. We felt that there was just the right amount of time to explore on your own. Go ahead: kiss the Blarney Stone, see Spot herd sheep, have tea and scones, dine at a schoolhouse and a medieval castle, take in breath-taking views of the Cliffs of Moher and along Slea Drive, and take that jaunty ride through Killarney National Park. It will be lovely!

Just got back from a trip of a lifetime. We had 8 people on our tour and it was just the right amount to spread out comfortably on the bus. I fell in love with this beautiful country and it's people. Ray was our driver and what a magical web he weaved. All of his stories and folklore as we were driving made us feel as if we were there in the past. Every accomodation was very nice and I loved that we only had to worry about lunches and everything else already paid for. Had a fabulous time and it wouldn't have been as fun if not for Ray. He kept us laughing with his knowledge of well...everything. A wonderful trip with an exceptional driver/guide and we are already planning to come back next year. I highly recommend this company.

Just got home from a great private escorted tour. Our driver guide Seamus definitely gets 10 stars! We planned our trip with Patricia who was friendly and prompt answering emails. She helped us plan a fun filled itinerary. When we started our trip we weren't given the times of our dinners that were included in our trip. We would only find out when we checked into the hotels in the afternoon. Since we were trying to do as much as possible we reached out to Patricia and she was able to give us a list of times for the rest of the week which was really helpful. I'd suggest asking for this right from the start if you want to optimize your time. Although having dinner included in the trip was easy, the menus at every hotel were the same every night. We were at one hotel for 2 nights and the menu was very underwhelming so the first night some adults ordered off the children's menu and then we skipped dinner the second night and went into town to eat at a restaurant with more traditional Irish fare. This is probably more of a hotel problem but maybe something to look more into so you're not given the same 3 options(beef, chicken, fish) at every hotel. Seamus was so nice and helpful right from the beginning. He was unaware of the ages of everyone in the group but as soon as he met us he added something for everyone (12 people ages 12-66). He helped us add more to our trip and showed us so many beautiful views. He was very knowledgeable about the history, places to check out, and entertaining too. He was always prompt picking us up and flexible when some attractions had longer lines. Seamus always got us to places before all the huge crowds of big tour buses. We shared so many laughs and stories with him he truly became apart of our family. We all highly recommend him if you're looking to book a trip. You will not be disappointed.

The tours were just okay relative to other places we vidited. It was not good value. The only good things in these tours were the guides. Our guide got one tour, Noelle was phenomenal, extreamly knowledgeable former history teacher. He made these tours more interesting. The place to this remote bear land with a man telling the same story over and over was total waste of time.
